U.F.Faux

Tony: "Todd! Look up in the sky! It's a bird, it's a plane, its..."
Todd: "It's neither. Try wiping the condensation off the window."
Tony: "No seriously, I think it might be some sort of other life form trying to communicate!"
Todd: "Oh really weirdo? What's it saying?"
Tony: "It's saying 'Pull over and check me out!'"
Todd: "I think it's saying, 'Tony needs to start drinking decaf.'"
Tony: "Just pull over."
Todd: "Fine."

Up & Running

Our new, improved site is online!

Check it out at 13abc.com.

Scroll down to the bottom and slide through the tabs. We're the last one. It took some figuring, but we archived most of our stuff onto 3 separate pages - with more to come! If you've had trouble with the video player here, try this one out. It seems to be more user-friendly.

As for the TV special ... The latest word is it won't air until early next month. That may or may not be confusing depending on the future of COSI - we shot the entire special there. Let's hope it stays open!

Update

What's that you say? I keep checking Tony & Todd's and I haven't seen anything new and I'm beginning to lose interest? Well stop right there so we may peak that dwindling interest. We've been hard at work on some new developments we'd like to share with you. First, if you haven't noticed yet, 13abc.com has a new look. And with that look comes a whole slew of new features. So, we're in the process of moving all our TnT stuff over to the new website for easier access. We're hoping to get all of that up and running by the end of next week. We'll keep you posted on that. And second, we've completed shooting for our half-hour special we'll be airing on the actual television. Yes, you heard me. A half-hour special. All the shooting and most of the editing is complete. We're still in the post-production phase. We don't have a definite time slot yet because we're still working with our programming director but we'll definitely let you know as soon as we know. More to come...

A Haunting We Will Go

We appreciate all of the suggestions for Halloween Roadside Attractions this time of year, but we could only pick one. This house stands out because many of the decorations are homemade. Keep at it, folks! Next year your house could end up on the internet!

Stay tuned at the end for a special greeting from Todd. Let's just say the devil made him do it ... Now he needs his "exercise!" Ha! Get it?

Uncle Sam Update!!

Don from Denver writes:
"Years ago, there used to be a fast food restaurant in Toledo called Uncle Sam's Hamburgers. If memory serves correctly, the Main location was on Broadway near Western in South Toledo. Anyway, if it's the same statue, it stood in front of the restaurant. The gesture I believe is supposed to be a finger saying come here as in come here to eat. After the restaurant went out of business, the statue was moved to a field out along west Airport Highway, I believe sometime in the late 70's or early 80's."

Tiresnakes And Outhouses

Do you know of a Roadside Attraction we've missed? This is a perfect example of someone telling us about an idea and how we follow up on it. If you know of any Roadside Attractions, let us know and we'll check it out. Most likely. Unless it's super dangerous. Like something that involves barbed wire or attack dogs.
